Space & Science Fiction Week, Friday 8 - Saturday 16 May 2009

Out of this World...

Between Friday 8 and Saturday 16 May, Letchworth Garden City will be visited by UFOs, Robots and Space Aliens.

The week blasts off with the new Star Trek movie hitting the screens of Broadway Cinema. Re-booted for a new generation, the film brings back old favourites James T Kirk and Mr Spock with our very own Simon Pegg playing Scotty.

Family fun all the way. The week includes a children’s UFO hunt, art competition, robots, sci-fi fashion and E.T.

For kids of all ages there’s a digital fun fair, Doctor Who costumes, a Star Trek online quiz and a fantastic season of classic sci-fi movies.

Mark it in your captain’s log and make sure you beam down to the Garden City…
