Mike Berry & The Outlaws headlining the Festival on Saturday.

This summer's Letchworth Garden City Festival attracted hundreds visitors from far and wide for a fantastic activity-packed week of fun.

Beginning the programme on 25 July, the Letchworth and Baldock Lions raised record funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association through various fun activities, charity stalls and a raffle.

Throughout the week, a programme of walks, talks, quizzes, cycle rides and live music – organised by a number of local community organisations and groups, kept the Festival momentum going.

The week's finale, a 50s and 60s Festival, brought a busy weekend with plenty to do for everyone in Broadway Gardens. The highlights included an incredible line-up of live music acts; a fashion show of period dress featuring a beautiful selection of Spirella garments among others; plus facts and information about Letchworth Garden City’s famous industry of yesteryear, in the 'Walk of History' located down Broadway Walk. These displays are now on show at Letchworth Arts Centre, in its Arcade town centre venue, and runs from 4 to 27 August.
