			Wynd scheme approved Consent granted for exciting mixed use scheme At its meeting on 30 June, North Hertfordshire District Council's Planning Control Committee granted planning permission to the second major phase of the Heritage Foundation's ambitious revitalisation programme, redevelopment of The Wynd. The first phase, the street scene improvements to Eastcheap and Leys Avenue, was approved in March and an announcement is expected shortly on the proposed timetable of construction, anticipated to commence early in 2009. This website will be updated with further news on these projects as soon as it is available.
